Skills:- Skilled in operating 12-passenger vans, shuttle buses with ADA lifts, 28- to 40-passenger coaches, and up to 58-passenger motor coaches.
- Ability to navigate routes safely and efficiently.
- Ability to respond appropriately to road, weather, and traffic conditions.
Abilities:- Transport College groups to scheduled events and activities in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Maintain passenger safety and comfort throughout trips.
- Remain alert and focused during extended driving periods.
2. Vehicle Inspection, Safety, and Regulatory Compliance - Knowledge of pre-trip and post-trip inspection procedures.
- Knowledge of vehicle safety standards and operational requirements.
Skills:- Ability to identify mechanical, safety, or operational issues.
- Ability to complete inspection documentation accurately.
Abilities:- Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections.
- Report vehicle deficiencies promptly.
- Ensure vehicles meet all safety and operational requirements before transport.
3. Customer Service and Communication- Knowledge of customer service principles and professional conduct.
- Understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.
Skills:- Effective verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with students, faculty, staff, and community members from diverse backgrounds.

4. Passenger Assistance and Loading/Unloading Operations - Knowledge of safe lifting techniques and passenger assistance procedures.

- Ability to safely load and unload equipment, luggage, and supplies.
Abilities:- Assist passengers entering and exiting vehicles.

- Lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds.
5. Vehicle Cleanliness and General Maintenance Support - Knowledge of basic vehicle cleanliness and maintenance standards.
Skills:- Ability to maintain vehicle appearance and readiness.
Abilities:- Keep vehicle interiors and exteriors clean and presentable.
- Ensure vehicles are ready for service and represent the College professionally.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit and operate a vehicle for extended periods.
