Position Description
Perimeter College is seeking part-time instructors in COMPUTER INFORMATION SYSTEMS who will play a key role in educating and supporting students.
Required Education
To qualify to teach COMPUTER INFORMATION SYSTEMS, applicants MUST have: A minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
Teaching experience is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to teach COMPUTER INFORMATION SYSTEMS courses on the collegiate level
- Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods
- Ability to relate to a diverse student population and facilitate student learning
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology
Work Hours
Classes at Perimeter College are offered morning, afternoon and evening including weekends.
Salary
$3375.00 for each 3-semester credit hour course taught
