Department: Student Affairs - Student Well-Being & Success

Reports To: Director, Student Well-Being and Success

Travel: Day travel few days per year

LOCATION: Green Bay

STANDARD HOURS: Monday-Thursday 11AM-5PM and Fridays 10AM-4PM; Works fall and spring term from approximately mid-August through mid-May. Flexibility required to include other hours, as necessary.

STARTING PAY RANGE: $32.93-$35.49 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY

Serves as a primary access point and ongoing support professional for students with disabilities. This position blends individualized case management, accommodation determination, and student coaching with coordination of accommodations, assistive technology, testing, and accessible materials. The role is responsible for ensuring equitable access to college programs, services, and learning environments in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and institutional policy.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Conduct intakes and assess student needs to determine accommodations for students with disabilities by reviewing documentation and interviewing students to evaluate their individual needs.
  • Provide guidance on available campus and community resources, assistive technology, self-advocacy strategies, recommended course loads, and curriculum planning.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive case management plans tailored to individual student needs.
  • Serve as point of contact for students seeking disability accommodations.
  • Use coaching framework to assess student and customer needs.
  • Coordinate Disability Services accommodations, including test-taking, notetaking, assistive technology, accessible classroom furniture, and alternative textbook formats.
  • Communicate with instructors to inform them of student accommodations.
  • Train students on assistive technologies and adaptive equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve student and faculty issues related to accommodations.
  • Maintain professional student records in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Promote access for students with disabilities to the college community.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Special Education, Vocational Rehabilitation, Human Services or a related field.
  • Minimum three years of experience working with individuals with disabilities or supporting access, accommodations, or case management.
  • Ability to learn and use student information systems, scheduling software, assistive technology platforms, and learning management systems (e.g., Canvas)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the Districts standard insurance policy terms.
