Part time Faculty: College Success Seminar

Founded in 1986, St. Charles Community College (SCC) has a reputation as one of the best two-year colleges in the state of Missouri. SCC invites qualified candidates to apply for our part-time faculty position to teach College Success Seminar for the upcoming semester.

College Success Seminar is a first-year experience course that introduces students to college process and resources. The course also teaches strategy critical to student success such as: Information Literacy, Time Management, Career Exploration.

Part-time appointments made on a semester-by-semester (as needed) basis. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated success in serving diverse student populations in a secondary or college-level education setting. Candidates must be available for in-person classroom instruction.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree
• Professional experience in a secondary or college-level education setting
• Experience operating Learning Management Systems (i.e. Canvas, Blackboard)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master's degree
• Experience in classroom instruction
