Salary offers may also be influenced by prior relevant work or industry experience, where applicable. Faculty pay ranges are for 8.5 months salary unless otherwise specified.

Job Description:
The Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University seeks a part-time faulty to teach ECN 301 Intermediate Microeconomics to undergraduate economic students.
Course description: Concepts and tools for the analysis of the behavior of consumers and firms, consumption decisions, market structures, and general equilibrium. Pricing, production, purchasing, and employment policies.
This position is anticipated to be filled on a fully remote basis. Not all geographical areas within the United States are eligible. Qualifications:
- Minimum of MA in Economics with excellent teaching experience of economic courses at the undergraduate level and strong class evaluations.

Responsibilities:
- Ordering the appropriate books and materials in advance of the start of class date.
- Preparation of lectures, projects, or other student assignments.
- Maintaining regularly scheduled office hours.
- Presenting instruction based on the competencies and performance levels of the course.
- Meeting all designated class periods.
- Submitting completed mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations.
- Grading student assignments and exams in a timely manner.
- Providing departmentally sanctioned forms for completed student evaluations.
- Building a positive rapport with students and other faculty.
