Overview

Quinnipiac University seeks highly qualified applicants who are committed to excellence in teaching for on-ground part-time faculty opportunities in the Department of Finance within the School of Business on our Mt. Carmel Campus in Hamden, CT with an expected start date of Fall 2026.

Responsibilities

Teach assigned undergraduate or graduate courses in Finance following department guidelines.
Prepare and present active learning course content and engaging class activities; compile, administer, and grade assessments (assignments, exams, projects) to evaluate student learning.
Provide timely feedback, maintain records, and submit grades by specified deadlines.
Offer student support through office hours, responsive communication, and guidance on university resources.
Ensure course content remains current and relevant and comply with all university policies.

Education Requirements

A doctorate in Finance, Economics, or related field is preferred. Candidates who have an MBA or a master’s degree in one of these fields plus relevant work experience are also encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Relevant teaching or training experience, preferably at the collegiate level.
Demonstrated expertise in financial management, financial modeling, financial analytics, or financial statement analysis.
Strong communication skills.
Familiarity with online teaching tools and Learning Management Systems.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from varied backgrounds.
