Job Description

The UMKC Berkley Child and Family Development Center, located on the UMKC-Volker campus, has a current opening for a Part-Time Food Service Worker IV. In this position you will provide skilled work in the cooking and preparation of foods from recipes for lunch and snacks at the Berkley Child and Family Development Center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help the department continually improve and reach its vision.
• Perform duties related to inventory, supply purchasing, stocking and restocking and other similar tasks.
• Prepare lunch and snacks in accordance to set guidelines provided by the Child and Adult Care Food Program.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, safe and secure work area.
• Ensure the setup, service, preparation, operation and cleanup of the dishwashing/pot and pan washing areas as needed.
• Provide and ensure that others provide high-quality service to children and families.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:30am-1:00pm
