Part-Time Food Service Worker - Burton 4-H Center
Position Summary
This position is based on the Burton 4-H Center on Tybee Island. Work involves food preparation, serving, and cleaning the food service areas. Employees work under direct supervision while involved in preparation of food, serving, and cleaning.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Serve food at the dining hall; set up buffet lines and serve individual plates; interact with customers ranging from young children to senior citizens. (35%)
- Clean and sanitize the work area, operate a commercial dishwasher; clean chairs, tables, and service lines; sweep and mop floors; clean windows, baseboards, blinds; walkways and walls of food service building. (35%)
- Assist cooks in preparing and cooking food; assist with preparation of menu items. (20%)
- Other tasks as assigned. (10%)
