Part-time position averaging 10–19 hours per week. Hours may include early mornings, lunch service, special events, and occasional evenings based on operational needs.
Specific Position Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and food quality standards.
Assist with daily food truck setup, operation, and breakdown.
Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with local health regulations.
Properly store, label, and rotate food products.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management.
Serve customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Maintain a clean and organized food preparation and service area.
Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing deliveries.
Handle cash register and point-of-sale transactions as needed.
Support special events, catering functions, and campus activities when assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Previous cooking, food service, or restaurant experience preferred.
Food Handlers Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Dependable attendance and punctuality required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
