Part-Time Instructor of Mathematics
Job Summary
The School of Arts and Sciences at Dalton State College invites applicants for a part-time Instructor of Mathematics. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching beginning courses in mathematics as well as additional courses in their area of expertise. Teaching assignments may include day, evening, off-campus, or online courses.
Responsibilities
- Teach introductory courses in the mathematics at the undergraduate level.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must hold an earned Masters degree from an accredited college with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Mathematics or a closely related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
- College classroom teaching experience.
- Earned doctorate.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to teach in face-to-face, hybrid, and online classrooms.
- Willingness to accommodate a variety of learning styles and use applied learning approaches.
