Basic Functions

The starting noncredit adjunct rate from salary table 25 is $73.59 per hour-Lecture and $55.20 per hour-Lab. If you have an advanced degree, the rate is $76.73 per hour-Lecture and $57.54 per hour-Lab.

Education and Experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must possess the minimum qualifications for the discipline as approved by the California Community Colleges Board of Governors. Possess a combination of education and experience that is at least the equivalent. Evidence of a sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, culture, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty and staff.
