Part-time Junior Research Assistant position is available in the Division of Life Science at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Mainly deployed on clinical and non-clinical duties in the following areas:

• Perform phlebotomy procedures;
• Assist physical examination and assessment of study subjects in research programme related to aging and memory loss;
• Successful candidates will work in the mornings (~3 hour session) on weekdays (and potentially weekends) for three days per week; need to work at Hong Kong Science Park and geriatric centers around Hong Kong

Requirements:

• Form 5 (HKCEE) / Form 6 (HKDSE) or above
• Possess Phlebotomy Certificate
• A minimum of 2 years of phlebotomy experience
• Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English; and
• Be able to speak fluent Cantonese

(Duration: 1 year, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
