Scope of Job: We seek applicants who are dedicated to serving The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley's student body as a Part-Time Lecturer of Teaching and Learning in the 2026-2027 academic year. The Department of Teaching & Learning at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) occasionally has the need to hire non-tenure track, part-time Lecturers to teach in its Bachelor's program for the academic year 2023-2024, beginning with the Fall 2024 through Summer 2024 Semester. Responsibilities include delivering quality instruction within the program.

Minimum Qualifications: The qualifications to be considered as a non-tenure track, part-time lecturer in the Teacher Preparation Program are: Minimum of three years teaching experience in PK-12 schools, Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction, Education Studies, Teaching & Learning, or another teacher preparation related field of study from an accredited institution, experience in instructional technology to support teaching and learning. Valid teaching certificate required.

Salary: Part-time Lecturers are paid per course taught commensurate with experience and/or qualifications.
