Part-time Lecturer
ENGL 4420EEF Psycholinguistics
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
- planning and teaching a full-time Psycholinguistics Course for undergraduate students;
- completing related duties including preparing teaching notes, marking and commenting on assignments, and conducting tutorials;
- assisting in the development of teaching and learning activities;
- providing consultation to students; and
- performing other duties related to the development and delivery of the course.
The appointees shall be required to teach a maximum of 3 hours per week during weekdays daytime on campus in the face-to-face mode between September 2026 and January 2027.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- A recognized Master’s degree or above, preferably in the area of Linguistics, Psycholinguistics, and Applied Linguistics.
- Applicants must be fluent in both written and spoken English.
- Preference will be given to those who have tertiary teaching experience.
Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience in related discipline and in tertiary education
Terms and Conditions for Appointment
Successful candidateswill be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
