Part-time Lecturers (Social Work/Counselling) in the Department of Social and Behavioural Sciences [Ref. T/036/26]
Duties
- Provide fieldwork supervision of social work students at Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree levels or counselling students at Master’s degree levels;
- Attend supervisor meetings;
- Conduct fieldwork-related workshops and seminars for students; and
- Assist in the development and updating of fieldwork teaching materials.
Requirements
- A PhD/Master’s degree in Social Work/Counselling, preferably with at least 5 years of practising experience in one or more of the following fields of Social Work or Counselling: Community Development, Elderly, Medical, Rehabilitation, Mental Health, Children, Youth and Family;
- A Registered Social Worker under the Social Workers Registration Board in Hong Kong;
- Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities to work with a wide range of social service organisations; and
- Good command of English and Chinese are required.
- Experience in fieldwork supervision will be an asset for consideration.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
