Job Summary

Monitor and supervise the pool facilities, enforcing policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Monitor and enforce pool rules and policies.
Keep aquatic and locker room facilities clean and organized.
Know the aquatic facility emergency action plan, and how to engage it.
Take daily stats and ensure all items on the health inspection sheet are satisfactory.
Perform lifesaving duties when needed.
Answer patron's questions and follow up on requests.
Attend all scheduled meetings and in-services.
Maintain a good level of physical fitness.
Check the water and make corrective action to maintain appropriate water chemistry.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Currently certified as a lifeguard with a Nationally Recognized association and currently CPR & First Aid certified.
Must be able to pass a swim test and have a good level of physical fitness.
Must possess good oral and written communication skills, as well as quality people skills.
