Position Description

Perimeter College is seeking part-time instructors in MATHEMATICS who will play a key role in educating and supporting students.

Required Education

To qualify to teach MATHEMATICS, applicants MUST have: A minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate credit hours (or 27 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

Teaching experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to teach MATHEMATICS courses on the collegiate level
• Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods
• Ability to relate to a diverse student population and facilitate student learning
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology
• Ability and experience to teach effectively in both the face-to-face and online modalities

Salary
$3825.00 for each 3-semester credit hour course taught
