The College of Law at West Virginia University is currently accepting applications for a (Remote) Part-Time Temporary FRPP Fellow.
What You'll Do
- Review and analyze legal documents and instruments primarily related to easements in the Farm and Ranch Lands Protection Program (FRPP) of the United State Department of Agriculture.
- Document findings in EXCEL and other reporting formats.
- Contribute to the preparation of periodic reports describing the Clinic's activities as to the FRPP program
Work Hours: 10 hours per week
Length of Assignment: Approximately 4.5 Months
Qualifications
- J.D. from ABA - accredited law school.
- A minimum of five (5) years prior work in real estate office is preferred.
- Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered.
- All qualifications must be met by the time of employment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of laws, legal codes, and government regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word and EXCEL
- Proficiency in Google platforms including Google Docs and Zoom
- Strong ability to multi-task multiple projects
- Ability to write effectively
- Ability to collaborate efficiently with co-investigators of different disciplines
