This project proposes a fundamentally new atmospheric sensing capability that exploits signals of opportunity (SoOp) from low Earth orbit (LEO) communication constellations to create a continuous, ground-based alternative to radiosondes. Rather than treating the rapidly growing density of LEO transmissions as interference, this research reframes them as a persistent, information-rich sensing layer.
