Patient Service Coordinator/MA (DOM Gastroenterology)

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

Patient Service Coordinator position responsibilities 50%

• Offer friendly, courteous, and confidential assistance to every patient to ensure that the patient has a positive experience.
• Maintain accurate information on each patient to facilitate the patient encounter.

Certified Medical Assistant Responsibilities 50%

• Perform duties related to patient care in the ambulatory clinic environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or graduation equivalent.
• Certification/registration as a Medical Assistant (e.g. CMA, AAMA, RMA, AMT, NAHP). If not currently certified/registered, must become certified/registered within 180 days (6 months) of date of hire.
• One year of work experience in customer service.
• Current CPR certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Johns Hopkins system.
• A minimum of two years in similar service-oriented industry.
