Job Summary:
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a dedicated and collaborative physician to join our exceptional team. This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology practice within a dynamic academic environment while contributing to a broad spectrum of clinical and educational initiatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, advancing multidisciplinary collaboration, and supporting the education and mentorship of the next generation of physicians.
Clinical responsibilities include patient care including outpatient clinics, surgical procedures and participation in the gynecologic call system. Specifically, you would be expected to establish an outpatient Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology outpatient practice and perform surgical procedures as indicated. You would be expected to also participate in the adult gynecology call pool including coverage of adult gynecologic clinical and surgical emergencies and coverage of emergency room and inpatient consultations as requested. In addition, our goal would be for this position to participate in multi-disciplinary clinics such as gender and sexual development clinic and PCOS clinic.
Academic responsibilities include participation in teaching programs related to medical students, residents and fellows. You are also expected to oversee the training of residents in the operating room, clinic and inpatient unit.
- This position requires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campus work location.
- This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.
- Applicants for this position will be considered for the following titles: Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, Clinical Professor, Assistant Professor CHS, Associate Professor CHS and Professor CHS. The title is determined by the experience and qualifications of the finalist.

Key Job Responsibilities:
Participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health. An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other faculty members.
Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.

Compensation:
Negotiable, 12 month
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of a US Obstetrics and Gynecology residency and fellowship Pediatric Adolescent Gynecology by the start date of the position.
- Must be eligible for enrollment as a billing provider and for all necessary hospital privileges, by the start date of the position.
- WI Medical license by the start date of the position.
- Board-certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the start date of the position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- For an appointment at Associate Professor or Professor rank on CT or CHS track, candidates will meet criteria established by the department and as outlined in the School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for promotion or appointment to Associate or Professor on the CHS or CT track.
Education:
- MD or DO, or equivalent required.
