Pediatric Rheumatologist

The University of Virginia Department of Pediatrics invites applications for a full-time Pediatric Rheumatologist in an exciting, newly created role, with appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. Candidates with a minimum of three years of post-training clinical experience in an academic setting are preferred. This faculty member will join the Division of Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology at UVA, contributing to the care of children with complex rheumatologic conditions across both ambulatory clinics and inpatient consult service at UVA Children’s Hospital. The role also includes meaningful engagement in medical education through the teaching and mentorship of medical students, pediatric residents, and adult rheumatology fellows.

Qualifications
The position is open to individuals with MD or DO degrees, and candidates must be eligible for appointment to the University of Virginia faculty. The position is for tenure or non-tenure tracks. Candidates must be board certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Rheumatology.
