Pediatric Rheumatologist / Rank Dependent on Qualifications
The Division of Pediatric Rheumatology at the University of Utah School of Medicine has an immediate opening for a Pediatric Rheumatologist. The Pediatric Rheumatologist will provide clinical care to children with rheumatologic, autoimmune and auto inflammatory disorders, and will also participate in shared rheumatology consultation on the inpatient service. The clinical focus will be in the ambulatory setting, and may include supervision of advanced practice providers and nursing staff. Clinical activities will be carried out at Primary Children's Hospital's ambulatory and inpatient sites, and at University of Utah clinics. The Pediatric Rheumatologist will have dedicated time to engage in investigation/research and scholarly activities, with an expectation of obtaining grant funding to provide salary support. In addition to clinical service and research responsibilities, there is an expectation for academic work including education, administration/service, and advocacy.
Qualified candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatrics and in Pediatric Rheumatology. The selected candidate will receive a faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics on the Clinical or Tenure track at the academic level commensurate with experience and qualifications.
