Pediatric Transplant Hepatologist
Job Summary
The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health is recruiting a Pediatric Transplant Hepatologist to join our growing team. We are looking for candidates with a track record of clinical excellence and academic contributions as demonstrated through training and/or practice experience.
- This position is full or part-time, 50%-100%
- This position requires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campus work location.
Key Job Responsibilities
Provide clinical service to pediatric liver transplant and pediatric liver and GI patients, both in the pediatric liver clinic and pediatric liver transplant clinics. Inpatient GI service is shared between all providers within the division. Provide pre-op and post-op care to pediatric liver transplant patients.
Engage in clinical teaching of fellows, residents, and medical students, and support the teaching and clinical research missions of the division and department.
Participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health (applicable to Physicians hired on the Clinical Health Sciences (CHS) track)).
Carry out independent research/scholarly activity in an area of interest (CHS Track only)
