"Pediatrics HS Clinical Series Pool Ad - Open Ranks"

The Department of Pediatrics in the School of Medicine, University of California, Irvine, has anticipated openings for physicians in its various divisions. These openings will be at the level of Assistant Professor or above depending upon the candidate's qualifications and will be in the Health Sciences Clinical Series (non-tenure track). Health Sciences Clinical Professor series faculty engage in scholarly or creative activities which derive from and support their primary responsibilities in clinical teaching and professional service activities. The Divisions include: Adolescent Medicine, Genetics/Metabolic Disorders, Pediatric Neurology, Allergy/Immunology, Hematology/Oncology, Child/Adolescent Psychiatry, Cardiology, Infectious Diseases, Pulmonary, Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine, Pediatric Surgery, Endocrinology, Nephrology, Pediatric Urology. Requirements include: M.D., D.O. or M.D./Ph.D. and/or equivalent license appropriate to the position. Board Certification or Eligibility within specialty is also required. Candidate must have demonstrated capabilities for teaching, professional service and/or research suitable for the HS Clinical series.
