Doylestown Hospital is a community hospital located in the center of Bucks County, Pa, with convenient access to Philadelphia and the Lehigh Valley. The department of pathology receives over 16,000 surgical cases, 2500 cytology cases and performs over 1 million laboratory tests in a typical year. Special diagnostic testing includes immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, and next generation sequencing.

Responsibilities include daily sign out of a mixture of general surgical pathology cases, GYN and non-GYN cytology, FNA on-site evaluation, frozen section coverage, weekly tumor board coverage, and AP/CP call. No autopsy or grossing responsibilities. Two and a half pathologist assistants, one cytotechnologist, 5 histotechnologists and one and half assistants provide outstanding support and expertise. Night/weekend call every 4th week.
Qualifications
