Pharmacy Technician

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team at MSK Westchester. In this role, you'll support pharmacy operations in a dynamic, patient-centered environment, helping ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality medication services.

Role Overview:

  • Perform inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies
  • Triage phone calls promptly and courteously, escalating to the pharmacist when appropriate
  • Maintain pharmacy files, records, and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Demonstrate proficiency with pharmacy equipment, systems, and technology
  • Assist with pharmacy inspections and ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations, as well as MSK policies and procedures
  • Complete annual competency assessments and support ongoing operational needs
  • Perform additional pharmacy-related duties as assigned to support patient care

Key Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; 2+ years of clinic or hospital experience preferred
  • PTCB or NHA Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) required
  • Experience with Omnicell or automated dispensing systems preferred

Additional Information:

  • Location: MSK Westchester, 500 Westchester Ave, West Harrison, NY 10604
  • Schedule: 37.5 hours per week; shifts vary Monday through Saturday, including weekends as needed to support department operations
  • Reports to: Manager, Pharmacy

Pay Range: $29.03 - $44.92FSLA Status: Non-Exempt
