This PhD project concerns the crystallization and deracemization of chiral organic compounds of pharmaceutical interest. The project aims at starting from a racemate and using additives to control the deracemization outcome of an otherwise random process. Furthermore, nucleation and interaction of additives and chiral compounds will be studied using strong light-matter interaction together with partners at the KULeuven.
