- Control of cell cycle progression by mechanical stress
We seek a highly motivated PhD student to join our newly established, interactive and collaborative team. The project builds on a well-established and highly visible track record in the analysis of plant growth processes regulated by cell-cycle-associated kinases, and extends this expertise to a new question: how mechanical stress controls cell cycle progression.
The Chair of Plant Systems Biology has strong expertise in all relevant molecular, cell biological, biochemical, physiological and genetic techniques and access to a broad range of techniques and facilities on the TUM-Weihenstephan campus and beyond.
