CRC/SFB 1739 | Department of Orthodontics, University Hospital RWTH Aachen
As part of our recently announced call for 11 PhD positions within CRC/SFB 1739, we're highlighting a project on modelling and modulating periodontal remodelling under systemic disease conditions using a locally injectable hydrogel system, supervised by PD Dr. Rogerio B. Craveiro.
You will conduct in vitro experiments with periodontal ligament stem cells (hPDLSC) and in vivo hydrogel injections in animal models, working closely with a partner PhD student on hydrogel formulation (Prof. Dr. Yang Shi, IEMI/Polymer Therapeutics).
Looking for: MSc in Biology, Biomedicine, Biotechnology, Molecular Medicine, Biochemistry, or related field.
