Proton therapy has emerged as a powerful cancer treatment technique due its superior tumour-targeting capabilities. Both conventional and ultra-high dose-rate proton therapies demand advanced imaging technologies to enable accurate in vivo three-dimensional dose verification and treatment delivery assessment.
