About the Project
Activities and responsibilities: We are looking for a highly motivated PhD candidate interested in bioorganic chemistry and interdisciplinary research at the chemistry/biology interface. The project involves the development of methods for chemical synthesis of post-translationally modified peptides with repeat structures. Solid phase peptide synthesis and fragment ligation will be key methods. The candidate will develop bioassays for structure-affinity studies. The position includes tasks for scientific qualification (doctorate).
