Job Summary

The Physical Plant Service Worker I performs various manual tasks necessary to complete work order assignments for the Physical Plant.

Core Responsibilities

1. Completes assigned work with supervision from the crew leader.
2. Works as a team member to load, unload, and move furniture and equipment... sets up and tears down all necessary furniture for special functions.
3. Drives trucks and operates power equipment on trucks and transports equipment to be salvaged.
4. Performs custodial duties and basic painting and construction work.
5. Promotes safety and environmental protection...
6. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Vocational Training, or Apprenticeship in a related field.
• One (1) year of related work experience.
• This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure.
