Placement Administration Assistant
About This Opportunity
Join the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work as a Placement Administration Assistant and play a key role in facilitating professional placement experiences for students across a range of healthcare, community and social service settings. Working within the Nursing and Midwifery Practice Education Team, you will collaborate with students, academic staff and external placement providers to coordinate placement activities, maintain critical systems and records, and deliver high-quality administrative support that contributes to student success.

As part of a collaborative team, you will help ensure the effective delivery of placement programs that support the development of the future health and social care workforce.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing efficient and accurate administrative support throughout the student placement lifecycle, including coordinating placement activities and communicating with students and placement providers.
- Maintaining placement records and systems, supporting data management, reporting and user assistance within platforms such as InPlace and ePortfolio.
- Serving as a key contact for enquiries, delivering responsive, professional and customer-focused support across a range of communication channels.
- Contributing to the ongoing improvement of administrative processes, documentation and stakeholder engagement activities to support the School’s operational objectives.
About You
- A degree with subsequent relevant experience in administrative fields, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and flexibly in a small, team-based environment.
- A strong commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and building positive stakeholder relationships.
- Highly developed organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
- High-level computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office, databases, CRM systems and web-based platforms.
- Working knowledge of University administrative systems, policies and procedures, or the capacity to quickly acquire this knowledge.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
