Evaluate and document new patient consultations, including
inpatient and Emergency Department consults.
Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests, imaging,
medications, therapies, and other treatments in accordance with
established protocols and scope of practice.
Coordinate interdisciplinary patient care, including patient
and family education, discharge planning, and collaboration with
consulting services.
Facilitate inpatient care through documentation, order entry,
surgical preparation, and care coordination.
Participate in surgical procedures as a first assist under the
supervision of a surgeon.
Monitor patient progress and implement care plans in
collaboration with supervising physicians.
Respond to and manage patient-related communications for both
inpatient and outpatient care.
Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive medical
documentation.
Participate in division meetings, conferences, and quality
improvement activities.
Foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment with faculty,
residents, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and other
healthcare professionals.

Minimum Qualifications
Physicians Assistant (PA) licensure by the Missouri State Board of
Registration for the Healing Arts.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Graduation from an American Medical Association
(AMA) accredited Physician Assistant program. Possession of a
current Missouri license to practice as a licensed Physician
Assistant is required. May possess a specialty certificate by the
National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
(NCCPA).
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $108,971.20 - $177,590 annually
