About the Job
Responsibilities:
- Conduct, oversee, and analyze data from multiple complex Experiments (40%)
- Genome editing of human cells
- Assess functionality of modified cells
- FACS panel analysis of gene edited cells
- Design and oversight of new experimental plans and procedures (40%)
- Development novel methods for engineering of cells.
- Grant writing and design of Experiments for grants (10%)
- Routine lab maintenance (5%)
- Materials acquisition and laboratory organization as necessary
- Supervision (5%)
- Supervise undergraduate research assistants and laboratory technical personnel who will aid in performing multiple complex experiments.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
PhD in cell biology
Preferred Qualifications:
Animal handling, primary cell culture, genome engineering
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: $63,480-$71,748 depending on education/qualifications/experience
Time Appointment: 100% Appointment
Position Type: Faculty and P&A Staff
