The department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is looking for a candidate who has the ability to synthesize hybrid materials and organic linkers, perform conductivity measurements, perform spectroscopy measurements, and perform X-ray diffraction analysis. The candidate should have the ability to analyze data, write papers, and draw graphics.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience
The candidate should have a PhD in organic chemistry with a very strong background in photophysical measurements which include studies of energy transfer processes, lifetime measurements, and kinetics.

Job Duties
- Synthesis materials and their characterization through Conductivity measurements, x-ray diffraction analysis and spectroscopic characterization. (60%)
- Assists in supervising and training graduate and undergraduate students in their research projects. (20%)
- Prepares graphics and contributes to writing proposals and reports on funded projects. (20%)
