Post Doctoral Fellow
Advertised Job Summary
The postdoctoral associate will play a central role in an NSF-funded project focused on investigating nitrogen isotope fractionation (δ¹⁵N) during ammonia (NH₃) gas-to-particle conversion and oxidation processes. The associate will be responsible for conducting laboratory experiments, analyzing isotope data, and integrating these findings into atmospheric models to enhance understanding of NH₃ emissions, transformations, and their role in particulate matter (PM₂.₅) formation and reactive nitrogen cycling. Additionally, the postdoc will prepare reports, manuscripts, and presentations to disseminate findings and will mentor graduate and undergraduate students participating in the project. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in atmospheric chemistry and isotope geochemistry.
