Post-doctoral Fellow (several posts) in Metabolic Medicine and Immunometabolism

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on chronic metabolic diseases, including obesity, diabetes, ageing, cardiovascular diseases, metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH), neurodegenerative disorders, and biostatistics
  • Discover and characterize novel humoral factors and biomarkers involved in the regulation of metabolic homeostasis
  • Perform biomedical experiments involving molecular biology techniques and biostatistical analysis
  • Undertake other duties as assigned
  • 5.5 workday per week is required

Requirements

  • a Ph.D. degree, preferably with experience in molecular biology, immunology, bioinformatics, multi-omics, and/or manipulation of genetically-modified mice
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to share knowledge, work efficiently, and perform under pressure both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

What We Offer

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis for 1-3 year(s), with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
