Base Salary starting from $113,400 + 17% superannuation

The Shine Lab at the University of Sydney invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Research Associate position in the field of Clinical Systems Neuroscience. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and collaborative research team focused on advancing our understanding of brain function and cognition using cutting-edge computational and neuroimaging techniques.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • conduct original research in the areas of computational neuroscience and functional neuroimaging
  • prepare research findings for publication in reputable scientific journals
  • collaborate with members of the Shine Lab and external collaborators to enhance interdisciplinary research efforts
  • process and analyse functional neuroimaging data (fMRI, EEG, etc.) to extract meaningful insights into brain function.

About you

  • a PhD in Neuroscience, Computational Neuroscience, Psychology, or a related field.
  • strong background in computational modelling and/or functional neuroimaging techniques.
  • proficiency in programming languages commonly used in neuroscience research (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • proven ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
