Postdoctoral Associate

The Global Labor and Work department of the ILR School is seeking a postdoctoral research associate whose research focuses on international organizations with a focus on labor rights or economic and social rights. These include, but are not limited to, the International Labor Organization, the Human Rights Council, and the European Court of Human Rights. Candidates should have theoretical expertise in international relations, international organizations, international labor law or international human rights.
The position entails contributing to an ongoing project on the ILO's supervisory mechanisms, especially the work of the Committee on the Application of Standards in reviewing states' compliance with ILO conventions.
Requirements:
Candidates must hold a PhD by the start of the appointment in any of the following areas- Political Science (with a focus on International Relations), Sociology, Law, or a closely related field. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong training and experience in qualitative and/or quantitative research methods.
