The CI²B is seeking applications from talented postdoctoral fellows for a two-year fellowship program.
Objectives
The objectives of the program are to attract and retain top postdoctoral researchers from around the world and/or currently at the Université de Montréal (UdeM), who are future leaders in fields and topics related to the strategic priorities of the Courtois Institute for Biomedical Innovation (CI2B) of the Faculty of Medicine, UdeM; Foster the development of cutting-edge collaborative and applied research projects; Offer an immersive experience in the UdeM ecosystem.
Funding description
The annual amount allocated includes the full salary of the postdoctoral fellow according to the principles established by the Université de Montréal. This includes up to CAD$63,819 in salary/year plus full benefits, and a $20,000 research allocation. The total duration of the grant is a maximum of two years.
Eligibility criteria
- Obtained their doctorate (Ph.D.) less than three years before the start of funding; or plans to obtain their doctorate by the start of funding; and
- Is registered as a postdoctoral fellow under the supervision of a Ci2B member at the Université de Montréal at the start of the funding period; and
- Obtained written support from a CI2B research professor (to be included with the application) to conduct a 2-year scientific project;
- Must maintain their postdoctoral fellow status for the duration of the funding (2 years).

The application file must include: the application form, a non-scientific abstract, a description of your potential project (maximum 3 pages), a cover letter (maximum 2 pages), Canadian Common CV in CIHR academic format, official doctoral transcripts, at least two letters of recommendation, and a letter of support from an eligible supervisor.
