Postdoctoral Fellow (LKYSPP)
Job Description
The Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy is seeking a highly motivated Post-Doctoral Research Fellow to work under Prof. Leong Ching on research related to behavioural public policy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in policy studies (preferably in behavioural policy), excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of conducting independent research.
Responsibilities could include (but are not limited to):
- Conduct research, including literature reviews, data collection, and analysis
- Analyze and make policy recommendations based on study results
- Contribute to the development and implementation of research studies
- Manage and coordinate with an internal team to advance study research goals
- Present research findings at conferences, workshops, and other public forums
- Participate in grant writing and fundraising activities
- Lead the organization of internal workshops and conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in policy studies or a related field in the social sciences
- Strong analytical skills and experience conducting independent research
- Due to the nature of the role, excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience presenting research findings at conferences and other public forums
- Keen interest in behavioural public policy
- Commitment to meeting deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with statistical software, such as R, SPSS, Stata or data visualization software such as Tableau, will be a plus
