Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join our cutting-edge research team in the Dermatology Service within the Department of Medicine. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects aimed at enhancing dermatological imaging and clinical decision-making through advanced data analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and map relevant features of Reflectance Confocal Microscopy (RCM) imaging to structured session reports.
- Develop a structured, anonymized database integrating diverse dermatological data streams, including dermoscopy and clinical imaging.
- Utilize data from a large-scale randomized controlled trial (RCT) to evaluate transparent AI models for improved diagnostic accuracy and decision support.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in a relevant field such as Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Strong background in image analysis, machine learning, and data integration.
- Experience with AI model development and a keen interest in clinical applications.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
