The Department of Immunobiology is seeking a highly motivated applicant for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position to be mentored by Dr. Silverman. This challenging position requires a high level of enthusiasm, dedication, and drive for applicants interested in conducting evolutionary guided research into the molecular mechanisms of T-Cell activation and cell fate decisions.

Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct independent experiments and computational analysis, evaluate the data, and keep appropriate records of all research activities.
Read the literature, participate in scientific discussions with other members of the lab, and attend mandatory lab meetings.
Perform assigned lab duties to assist in the maintenance of stock reagents or the general operation of the lab, and various other duties or projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
PhD in biochemistry, biophysics, molecular biology, immunology, virology, or related fields.
Experience with modern molecular biology, biochemistry, and tissue culture techniques.
Basic Immunological concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with live cell fluorescent imaging is helpful.
Being proficient in Python, R, and/or command line applications is encouraged.
