genes of interest. The postdoctoral fellow will also oversee and mentor graduate and undergraduate research in the lab. About the PI Lab: The CapituLab at Clemson focuses on understanding molecular mechanisms underlying evolution and development in the sunflower family (Asteraceae). The lab's interests span across diverse fields of plant biology. These include molecular and developmental biology, genomics, genetics, microscopy and comparative anatomy/morphology. We are a training focused lab centered around expanding skillsets of the members of our group as well as toolkits for the broader plant functional genetic community.
