The Centre for Health Systems and Safety Research (CHSSR) is expanding its team of applied health services researchers and is seeking a talented, highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow / Research Fellow with expertise in implementation science and the co-design and evaluation of health interventions.

The successful candidate will contribute to a portfolio of NHMRC and MRFF-funded research programs, working closely with the Director of the Centre. A core project will be a large-scale, multi-site national trial evaluating an intervention to reduce the use of a low-value nursing practice, with the aim of optimising medication safety, nursing workflows and workloads to deliver safer care to children in hospital. The trial is designed to support significant reform of current practice and policy. This exciting role will involve working with a multi-disciplinary team of researchers, consumers, practicing clinicians in hospital and policy makers. A diverse and innovative range of research methods and techniques will be applied.
