Offer Description

Aim:

Carry out research tasks within the framework of the Project objectives specified by the Project Principal Investigators (PIs), which aim to introduce new mathematical models into quantum information theory, quantum computing, and quantum communications. In particular, study:
- New spin-spin, spin-boson, and boson-boson interaction Hamiltonians.

Developments in entanglement theory and its applications.

New quantum circuits.

Integrability properties and dynamics of quantum systems.

Contribute to the transfer of project research results and the dissemination of Quantum Technologies within the technological-industrial sector.

Prepare and present reports on results as requested by the Project PIs and properly document the research conducted.

Contribute to drafting articles for publication in prestigious scientific journals.

Disseminate the research conducted by presenting papers at scientific meetings and through outreach activities.

Where applicable—and provided the researcher wishes to do so—collaborate in teaching courses offered by the Department of Physics, in accordance with current regulations.

Doctorate in Physics or Mathematics.
The date the doctoral degree must not be earlier than September 1, 2021. The date the degree was obtained is defined as the date of the doctoral thesis defense and approval.
