Postdoctoral Scholar BME /Tissue Engineering
The UCI Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) in the Henry Samueli School of Engineering is anticipating openings of postdoctoral scholar positions (Levels L0-L3) in the area of tissue engineering for the 2025-26 academic year. Seeking qualified candidates with experience in biomolecular and cellular engineering related to the following: Musculoskeletal system, Cardiovascular engineering, Immunoengineering, Biomaterials, Neuroengineering, Urinary and gastrointestinal engineering, Spatial cell biology.
These positions require a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, or biology and experience in one or more of the focus research area(s) listed above.
Initial appointments are for a two-year period and renewal is based on job performance and availability of support. Note: Total duration of an individual's postdoctoral service may not exceed five years, including postdoctoral service at other institutions.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and years of experience. A reasonable estimate for this position is $66,737.00 - $77,030.00. See Table https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/2025-26/represented-oct-2025-scales/t23.pdf
