"Postdoctoral Scholars - Open Ranks 2025-26"

The Department of Chemistry at the University of California Irvine anticipates openings for Postdoctoral Scholars throughout the 2025-26 Academic Year. Applications are being sought from recent Ph.D. graduates with backgrounds in various areas of Chemistry or a related field (degree date of 2021 or later).

Areas include:

• Inorganic or Organometallic Chemistry
• Organic Chemistry or Chemical Biology
• Physical, Atmospheric, or Analytical Chemistry
• Polymer, Materials, or Nanoscience Chemistry
• Theoretical Chemistry

Initial appointments are for two years, with renewal dependent on availability of support. Salary is based on University of California guidelines and commensurate with experience.

Salary Range: $66,737 - $80,034
